Sunday@ V-Fest & Upcoming week

Well it didn't look like the weather was gonna hold up on Sunday but luckily the weather was great and least for me overcast and around 20C.

Overall the festival was really good, the set lengths seem to be the biggest issue with me, just when the set would get getting good, it was over. Tokyo Police Club, Metric and K-OS, were victims of that. TPC has it the worst though, as their set was (attempted to be) cut short as the stage manager was giving the infamous(throat slash geture) to them. The lead singer, Dave decided to plead on stage to play one more song, when the guy said "NO!" they ignored him and basically saying screw the MAN, played one more for their fans. The stage manager had the last laugh as he went on stage and stole the lead guitarists' guitar just as Josh was about to pick it up for his solo, You Win, stage manager... You Win,

I think the Editors was the best set on Sunday, that nobody saw. I ventured out to see them play... by myself! just before the Killers set ended. It was well worth it, they played all the songs( except one(All Sparks) I wanted to hear, which was why it was probably the best sets of the festival, but their live show is truly amazing.

Set list from memory, or at least songs i remember them playing.

Bones
An End has a Start
Fall
Bullets
Escape the Nest
Fingers in the Factories
The Weight of the World
Spiders
When Anger Shows
The Racing Rats
Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors
Munich
Blood
Lights

I can't wait to compare it to what it really is. If anyone know what the real set list is, let me know.

Ucoming concerts

Tuesday- City and Colour
Wednesday- Girl Talk
Saturday- Insurgentlemen

The last group are peeps from my old work, A to the K and Dead Broke, gotta support the local artists, very local. I used to be their manager, I would get paid in glasses of wine. Let's just say we had a falling out, and now they gonna make it big. Come to their show Sept 15th at the Kathedral, or join the facebook group-
Insurgentlemen @ The Kathedral Saturday September 15th for the details.

Another busy week and concert and working OT at work to pay for my unexpected busy life...at least for this week

I didn't know that you like "The Office" -- I LOVE THE OFFICE.

What is your fax number so I can send you a fax from Future Gino. LOL! Remember that one?!

Wow, The Office is like my show, i even has the Dwight Shrute bobblehead from the NBC website.

My favourite is the shunning,

"Unshun, yes... Re-shunned"

Have you seen the UK, also very good.

The Shunning was f'n hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing! I went around shunning people here in our office (those of course who would get it)! I even have Friday morning debriefs, re: The Office, with my coworkers!

Nice, i did that @ my work the whole day, I kept unshunning, talking and then reshunning, we even went to the bar after work and I was shunning random people.

Yes, the URL was:
www.creedthoughts.gov/www/creedthoughts
...totally ridiculous and didn't even make sense. I thought it was SO funny that he thought that it was a real blog, but Jim just openend up a word document and told Creed that bogus URL.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!

I love The Office!

Yes, G, we are gay! we should start a joint blog about The Office and be more gay! LOL!
